Lignator Logistika does not procure timber from ambivalent sources. Lignator Logistika promotes forestry with the following keywords

- honest and fair business.
Lignator Logistika contributes to clear and environmentally friendly forestry mainly thanks to a decent purchase control and customer choice. The main objective of Lignator Logistika is to procure the timber which has been obtained lawfully, honestly and the history of which is straightforward and clear. The main contractor is the national forest management company RMK, which operates on the internationally recognized level. Other purchasers are carefully examined and during every transaction the origin of the timber is checked in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia and the FSC’s international standards. During the inspection, the accordance of the procured timber to the accompanying and sales documents and their credibility are identified.
According to its environmental policy and international standards, Lignator Logistika avoids timber, the procurement of which might belong to one of the following categories:
- human rights or local traditions have been violated during the procurement operation,
- environmental damage has been caused by logging in the forests of high protection value,
- genetically modified trees have been cut,
- forest management standards and best practices stipulated by legislation have been violated by procuring illegal timber,
- delivered tree species belong among the internationally protected species or are not equipped with required documentation,
- timber comes from the loggings, carried out in the natural forests with the goal of establishing plantations.
This environmental policy is a public document and the knowledge of its content is mandatory for all employees Lignator Logistika.
